I will have no mist upon my face when the fog of morning is burnt off by the sun cleanly and without hesitation It is now so clear, so simple to see I feel renewed I am light of body, spirit and mind soul is free to move I can hear sounds, how interesting they all are I now understand the different temperatures of the long day Each minute, life has changed Everything is different now Everything is different Now

I walked along the road and gazed at the hills there across the lake again, and breathed out a lagoon, as if i had not seen this beautiful sight before Land and body to be tilled rocks and trees hewn together motion of things living Down the hill on the farther shore The movement held up in the smooth and contoured line of a bare tree who appears as a beautiful women, throwing out her arms before me I am unable to explain unable to defy I can only admit the truth when I see it so clearly

A failed traveler seeks his home in the dark The grey fog of evening paints his skull with forgotten words He stumbles through the ash and pale Searching, longing With the grace of an angel he falls off the Earth And can see no longer Losers' grace fell in a green longing For space to see what was behind them But they couldn't see

The fretting world, the streets, the noisy hours of day withdraw, A holy calm descends like dew upon me, I walk in cool refreshing night the walks of Paradise, I scent the grass, the moist air and the roses; Thy song expands my numb'd imbonded spirit, thou freest, launchest me, Floating and basking upon heaven's lake. --- W. Whitman

about

Dear Hills

We carved the basin.
This stone left here by Masses of ice by
Gone now but this
Stone still here this
Powerful song
Fills it of water each
Spring we are fed
by the hills
We fill ourselves
With the water this
Basin remembers
that old time of ice
When it gushed
Of melted snows
We carved the
Powerful words
Of admission
My strength cometh from the hills
